The Owners: Eric & Courtney Stanley 


Eric was raised in Dutch Harbor Alaska, and has been fishing and hunting since he could walk. Courtney is an avid outdoors lover that fell in love with Alaska after a summer in Denali. As new owners as of 2017, they are both anxiously anticipating the arrival of the beloved guests to A Cabin by the Pond. 

Eric & Courtney will continue the tradition of Jim & CatSue with their own Retreat Center located about 1 mile from the Kenai River bridge just off Funny River Road.  The center is comprised of 7 cabins including the log lodge, a chapel lodge, and a few support buildings.  A Cabin by the Pond, also known as Moose Munch Cabins is located across the street and a 1/2 mile walk to a no-fee, public fishing area on the Kenai River.
