Map For Driving From Anchorage
Driving Map courtesy of Google Maps from Anchorage to our lovely retreat in Soldotna, Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula. Once you fly into Anchorage, rent a car and take the 3-hour spectacular road trip on the scenic Seward Highway. The Seward Highway is rated one of America’s most treasured byway’s. You’ll take the Highway through the towns of Girdwood, Portage, Turnagain Pass, and Moose Pass. Then, you’ll veer right on the Sterling Highway where you’ll wind through the gorgeous town of Cooper Landing (surrounded by the Kenai Mountains). Continue down through Sterling and into Soldotna – Alaska’s Kenai River City & our hometown!
When you are driving through Soldotna, you’ll turn left on Funny River Road. Follow it down 1 mile, left on Airport Heights Street, then we are the first driveway on the right. We are just 1 mile from downtown Soldotna and the perfect jumping off point for all your incredible Alaskan activities. We can’t wait to see you! Click HERE for map.
Flying From Anchorage
If you’ve already done the road-trip option en route to visiting us, consider the alternative of taking a small connecting plane from Anchorage to the Kenai Municipal Airport. We love flying with Grant Aviation and RAVN Air is another great provider with a bit larger planes. The usually each fly at least once an hour from 6am-10pm during the May-Sept summer season. Below is some information from the Kenai Municipal Airport regarding flight carrier contact information as well as contact information for Budget Rental Car (highly recommended) and Avis.
Ariel Map of A Cabin By The Pond
Below you’ll find an aerial map of our grounds. In 2017, we updated our landscaping by adding a beautiful artesian waterfall by the pond (next to the Dream Cabin) and we are in the process of building our 8th unit and 3rd lodge on the property which will be nestled in the trees pictured below between the Chapel Lodge & Dream Cabin. Our cabins provide a delightful amount of privacy and rustic wilderness charm, yet we are located just 1 mile to downtown Soldotna and a quick walk (or drive) to the Kenai River.
