“When opportunity arises and you are able to go to Alaska, a must is to stay at A Cabin By the Pond! Outstanding accommodations and such a peaceful relaxing enjoyable stay. We were fortunate enough to book one of the cabins for a week and what a treasure that was! We had all the comforts of home with the availability to cook if we wanted, nice hot showers, and exquisite bedding. So much fun at night sitting around a fire visiting with other people or just enjoying a walk through the woods. Jim and Cathy Sue Sagerser were so accommodating and made our stay so enjoyable. I definitely would recommend a stay at A Cabin By the Pond! ”Linda O’ConnorMathis, TX
“We came to fish but we had to act like we were home because it would be a sin to drag fishing gear and such thru a beautiful cabin. We found the appliances to be perfect, as well as our beds and shower. Some of my in-laws never saw a bathroom as clean and neat as we had. My son and I will definitely be back in a year or two.HaroldHallstead, PA
“Once you stay here, you'll never want to stay anywhere else. Very comfortable, clean, cozy cabins. Our cabin was decorated with attention to every detail, as was the main house and little chapel on site. We loved the living water pond which could be heard throughout the property. A sound that drew friendly campfires, lots of wildlife, and provided a perfect relaxing atmosphere. We are looking forward to our next visit. My rating for this property is and absolute five star rating... ”J&D BoyceWasilla, Alaska
“The cabins are nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. The service could not be better and we really enjoyed the evening campfires. The Sagersers are great hosts who did all they could to make our stay an unforgettable experience. The drive from anchorage through the mountains to Soldotna is well worth the extra time. ”AnonymousHypoxia, Chandler, AZ
