"Bunkhouse"

The “Bunkhouse” sleeps up to 4 guests and is located directly behind the Lodge.  This "no frills" cabin is designed for individuals that want just a clean cabin, hot shower and warm bed at a fair price.  It doesn't have a kitchen but does have a coffee maker, microwave and Wi-Fi.

All 4 Twin beds are extra-long and very comfortable.  This photo does not show current decorating or the addition of the coffee maker and microwave.  The inside entrance to the restroom is just to the left of the heater.

This bath has an outside access from the back porch.

This restroom has direct access from within the sleeping quarters as well as from the back porch.

Kenai River Lodging:  Although not located directly on the  River (across the street), this is Kenai River Lodging at it's finest.

"A Cabin by the Pond", also know as "Moose Munch Cabins" is located in the heart of the Kenai River lodging area.  For those wanting to fish, our cabins for rent are located only one mile from town but still in a secluded area.  The River is located just across the street and we are just ½ mile from a no-fee public fishing area.  Soldotna was voted the #1 fishing hotspot in North America by Field & Stream Magazine in 2004.  Soldotna, Alaska has more river city parks than anywhere else in Alaska and offers over 3,700 ft of elevated fishing boardwalk along the Kenai River.  The River offers world class King Salmon (Chinook), Red Salmon (Sockeye), Silver Salmon (Coho) and Pink Salmon (Humpbacks) fishing, not to mention some of the world’s finest trout fishing.   Soldotna is a beautiful, vital, growing city with a lot to offer to residents and visitors alike. In the summer check out our elevated boardwalks, river fishing, camping, canoeing, kayaking, wildlife viewing, bike trails, and hiking. Those seeking Kenai River lodging, "A Cabin by the Pond" is close in to Soldotna yet has easy access to the  River and still provides the Alaskan wilderness atmosphere that makes your stay awesome.
