Driving directions:
Soldotna is 150 miles from Anchorage and is touted as one of the ten most scenic drives in the world.  Highway 1 takes you from Anchorage around the spectacular Cook Inlet ocean, through winding green valleys, past majestic snow covered peaks, crystal clear lakes and along the fabulous Kenai River.  The drive takes about 3 hours.  Once in Soldotna, drive through our town until you cross over the Kenai River bridge.  Turn left at the next light (Funny River Road) and go approximately 1 mile to Airport Heights.  Turn left on Airport Heights and you'll find our cabins for rent  at the end of the road on the right.

Every year many anglers come to the Soldotna to fish and vacation.  This area is an excellent place to vacation with an abundance of cabins for rent, and other lodging accommodations.  It is a fantastic 3 hour drive from Anchorage.  Moose Munch Cabins and Chapel is directly across the street from the Kenai River and has four cabins available for vacation rentals.  It is not a Bed and Breakfast but offers a very scenic setting complete with a wedding chapel and an artesian water pond.  We are located approximately one mile from Soldotna Alaska and ½ mile walk to a no-fee public fishing area.  For additional fishing opportunities, Homer Alaska is located about 80 miles away.  It is known as the Halibut Fishing Capital of the World.  If you are looking for places to stay in the Soldotna area, we have cabins for rent and we would love to have you take a look at us.  Consider staying with us, “the Moose Munch Bunch” and Melba moose.
